Hi All
Our ERO has sent out relevant forms asking if the same people reside in a
specific property. One such form has come back stating "They have moved
away. I am a 15 year old and live in the property alone and cannot vote".
The immediate reaction was to phone Social Work which they did but suddenly
thought of data protection issues.
My gut feeling is that in these circumstances we owe a duty of care to the
child to inform Social Work and perhaps even the Police. I am quite
convinced that any Data Protection legislation will be superseded in cases
such as this...
Anyone any views?
