No comment on the above as there has been a similar debate in the last couple of
days. (What do people have to do to pay a mortgage :-) )

Sounds as if you are costing your employees or measuring productivity in some
way. I don't see a DP problem esp. if it is for (internal) management purposes
(in my reading it is for the administration/running of the business).
There may be different issues if you start using M$ Excel to measure productivity
etc, but that is another story.
