Shari, Una, Marcus, Liz and anyone else interested
I have asked our Principle Psychologist for an outline which I will forward
to this site..
Very briefly, I understand the tiers to be:
Basic - clues from performance, limits of the industry & EP professional
limitations and what is NOT SpLD.
Intermediate - Diagnosis & remedial work with emphasis on 'what is
meant' because a lot of conflating and confusing goes on. Plus similar
conditions and key strategies & issues.
Advanced - Interpretation and the science - the meaning of results &
labels - Stats., WAIS evaluation, UK/US differences, 'Emotive intelligence'
and literacy performance trends, etc.
