Does anyone have any experience/advice to offer on the following situation?
A student has been refused DSA as she has already completed one undergraduate course. She has paid for her own support (typing, note-taking etc) previously, as she was not aware of DSA. She graduated this year, with 3rd class degree, and wanted to continue studying at Masters level. She was advised to study at undergraduate level, as she did not meet entry criteria for her chosen post graduate course.
The situation now is that she cannot have support through DSA as she already has 1st degree, even though she did not receive funding through DSA for this. She cannot progress to post graduate study, where she would be eligible for DSA.
