Dear Gwyn
I used the yellow disposal bags whilst on dialysis and living in University
halls of residence. The bins were provided by the NHS (in my case, the
hospital renal unit), and they were collected twice a week by NHS waste
disposal teams as well, who left new bags as they took the used ones.
Neither I nor the university paid anything (although the hall porters did
occasionally empty bins when they became full before the collection day).

Dear all,
We have an interesting query which I hope somebody might be able
to offer us a solution too.
We have a student who is disposing incontinence products into
the personal hygiene bins which are provided in the en-suite
section where the student is staying in. The bin is only a small
one and residential services would like the student to have the
proper (yellow bag) disposal service set up so they can be
disposed of with no discomfort to anyone.
Our questions are:
who should pay for it?
is there a better solution?
anybody know of a similar situation?
many thanks in advance
gwyn
