At Coventry the students have to fill in a form requesting exam
conditions annually. That way if they want it they apply for it,
although everyone who is entitled to it is told about it.
Some students don't want to be stigmatized by having exams separate from
colleagues etc., if they have to set the process in motion themselves
then it is their decision (as long as there is flexibility for those
students who forget etc.)
