Peter,
The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) produces some figures each
year in a report called 'HE Management Statistics - Institutional Level'.
This contains a spreadsheet showing the numbers of disabled students from
each code group for each higher education institution in England. I'm sure
you are aware that dyslexic students are counted under code 01. You would
need to add up the figures to come up with percentages etc but this should
be straightforward.
Your university's planning and statistics department should have a copy of
the CD which contains the spreadsheets. Otherwise, you may need to contact
HESA via their website at http://www.hesa.ac.uk to get a copy.
Unfortunately I think this costs around ?60.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Cindy

Subject: Dyslexia Statistics
Hi
Does anyone have any recent figures for participation in Higher
Education by students with dyslexia? The figures in National
Working Party publication are a little vague and a few years old
now, anyway.
Regards
Peter
