Yes Chris, we have worked with a group of hearing aid users and have,
in our survey, found the main problem with loops is that they DO NOT
WORK!Tthen the poor person on the receiving end gets told "it's your
fault/hearing aid" whatever. I have also seen some awful examples of
installation where the loop could never have worked.
So everyone, please be warned: if your installer does not suggest that
you purchase a means of testing the loop, get it tested by a hearing
aid user and get it tested anyway as this can give you useful
information about "dead spots" for example.
