I cannot see how passing round the class list discloses any more
data than the presence or absence of a student in the room.
If someone is there they will presumably indicate this on the
class list and if they are not there they obviously cannot!
It may indicate the name of a student to someone who does not
know it but any concern about that would seem to be taking data
protection into absurdity - surely students normally introduce
themselves at the start of a course?
Cannot see the problem but perhaps I am missing something.
