We are amending the wording on our forms to provide more information for
applicants - what info is being requested, for what purpose, to whom it
will be disclosed.
We are particularly concerned to make it clear to Social Serivces clients
what uses will be made of their data and their rights - the department
produced an explanatory leaflet some time ago and this is being revised.
I wonder if any LA's have examples of wording that they have added to forms
(including electronic and internet forms) or if they have produced booklets
for the public and if they are prepared to share them?
