Hi
I'm being rather lazy. We're presently creating a privacy policy for our
website and are considering our responsibilities with regard to children.
I've had my attention drawn to the US legislation The Child Online Privacy
Protection Act of 1998 and wondered whether fellow subscribers were aware of
any similar statutes in the UK. I'm aware of codes of practice (ie the DMA
guides on e-commerce and on commercial communication to children online),
but wanted to check there wasn't something else I was missing.
I know I could look it up myself, but thought I'd pick your collective
brains first.
regards
