Wonder if anyone who has dealt with a CCTV access enquiry might be able to
comment on the following?
I believe that the police need to bring 'appropriate documentation' (?not
sure exactly which documentation) in order to view an incident captured by
CCTV under DPA. However, our head of Security is not sure and thinks that
police have automatic right under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
I'm not sure about which legislation takes precedence here and would
welcome views about the appropriate way to take this forward.
Many thanks,
Susan
