One possible starting point would be the list that was compiled for the Y2K
project. We had one which listed every system so they could be checked for
Y2K compliance. It had an analyst's name alongside each one rather than the
system manager but it's better than nowt. You might even find some part of
your organisation analysing existing systems for compliance with the Euro
that we're not going to join.

Subject: EXISTING RECORDS
Has anyone had any experience of trying to audit existing information? I am
trying to advise, realistically, how certain departments should act in order
to comply with the code, but am faced with the fact that some departments
have in the range of 1 million personal records to potentially check
through.
