Dear oh dear me,
This thing will end up being a virus by bringing Jiscmail to a halt (he he).
First, you've seen a naked woman. Well if you are men you have probably seen
one before. Hands up those who look the other way when a naked woman walks
down the street?
Second, you've seen a naked woman. If you are a woman, oh please come on,
ain't you got a mirror?
Third, it was pornographic. Damn, I should have visited the site. For
evaluation purposes of the message of course =B-}
I got the message last week or over the weekend some time ... it got deleted
(and if it had attachments) so did they. The rule is simple, attachments
even if true and from a trully known source can still carry a virus. If you
have no reason to look at them bin them.
Visiting a remote site cannot infect your computer although it may infect
your soul. But you can take precautions as in safe Sigma Epsilon Xi (cannot
spell the 3 letter word or it will be filtered out by mailers of good
orgnisations). Turn off your Java and Javascript support ... a remote site
can not give you a virus. There again most of you probably use M$ products,
Active X etc. Your whole computer is a virus, bin it :-))
The biggest junk I receive on a daily basis is of people selling millions of
email addresses to send us more junk. Learn to live with it and practice the
delete button (says he, now regretting the deletion of the offending
message).
Keep it coming ... this is more entertaining than the usual problems
discussed on the list.
:-)
Charles
PS. For those in *.ac.uk I am stuck with the RAE so you'll understand how
welcome this break is.
