Not true, unless this method of processing personal data is strictly
forbidden in staff instructions.
If it is in the instructions, the employee is processing in his/her own right
and would be the data controller. He/she would then be subject to the full
weight of the law for non-compliance with the subject access request. And
lack of security against loss of the data. And its accuracy if that is the
problem with wanting to supply it. And so on. That can't be right, can it?
