Guilty too, not doing but would recommend password protecting the BIOS. For
quality makes (shall not plug a big blue US firm) if the password is
forgotten or lost the machine has to go back to the manufacturer to be reset.
There are options for encrypting the disk but I am not keen on additional
rubbish running on any machine.
I would also recommend that laptops are not used in public places as it can
put the well being of employees at risk. That is, get the poor ****** beaten
up.
