Sorry for cross-post from NADPO group.
In dealing with a SAR from a person identified as potentially violent, am I
justified in removing the names and identifiers of staff from the data that
will be sent to the data subject (where the data subject is not already
aware of their identity)? My view is that my duty to protect the Council
Officers involved out weighs the right of the data subject to have that
information. I believe it is sufficient for the data subject to know that
the Council carried out the processing.
Comments/guidance please.
