Dear Colleagues,
I'm something of a lurker on these pages - mainly because there is so little
time to respond.
I would like to contribute to the debate that Tim Trent started, not least
because I'm married to an Iranian and have frequently visited the country
and have learnt to appreciate how deep is the hostility towards Western
Governments and the policies they have deployed towards Muslims.
My main concern, however, is that this will be used by Governments in every
country to clamp-down or snoop on 'private' conversations such as this one.
It may only be a short step, before intercepted emails become admissible
evidence.
Kindest regards,
Thomas.
