Hi,
I would like to run something by the members of this list:
A Data Subject requests disclosure and pays a £10 fee.
The Data Controller does his stuff and produces some material but the DS is
not satisfied with the process and not satisfied with the output.
Leaving aside any complaint to the Information Commissioner is it not the
case that, under 'normal' consumer law the DS is entitled to demand and
receive the £10 back? After all, if you buy a service from anywhere else and
are not satisfied with what you get for your money you can get a refund.
Any views?
Dave Eagle.
