But...
Section 68 of the FOI act explicitly extends section 1 of the 98 DP act, to any
"recorded information held by a public authority and [which] does not fall
within paragraphs (a) to (d)". Sure enough, subjects won't be making SARs under
the terms of the FOI act, but they will be making SARs under a new version of
the 98 that has been extended in scope by the FOI act.
