Didn't we discuss "model release" forms a while back - the subject who
had their photo taken had to sign it in order for the photo to be used?
Does this only applies to professional photographers.
If we use photos of students for university promotional material we get
the student to sign a declaration saying that they don't mind their
photo being used in eg. the prospectus AND future marketing material.
It all depend on the type of photo. If it's a profile, then they sign
the declaration. If it's a photo of lots of people, or a photo of say a
building which happens to have people coming out of it, then they don't
have to sign.
It's all a question of where to draw the line!
