I wonder if anyone can help.
A student I did an assessment for has been seeking funding from
his institutions Hardship Fund to cover support costs (he's
postgrad, blind and the DSA just doesn't cover his support costs).
His institution are asking that he submits financial info regarding
his personal circumstances. He doesn't feel he should have to do
this.
Do people out there means-test their Hardship Funds for costs
incurred through disability while studying? It doesn't seem right that
someone should be forced to use any of their savings or income to
cover costs incurred through disability while studying?
