I have written a fairly comprehensive policy on confidentiality,
specifically for disabled students and the passing of information around the
institution / LEAs etc,. I am more than willing to share this with you all.
I would like to have the chance to go through it once before passing it
around, but I am going on leave today for a couple of weeks.
If anybody would like to see a copy, please send me an email NOT THE LIST.
This is really important, because I am about to suspend for two weeks and so
I won't get your message.
My email address is

Kind regards (almost from the beach)

If Elizabeth's concerns cover Data Protection Act, getting student to sign
permissions for releasing information etc, then I would be very interested
to see what you have developed, as we are working on a policy to cover this
at City too.
Thanks

Subject: Confidentiality
Hello,
I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has been involved with
writing a confidentiality policy concerning the circulation of student
information within their establishment, especially concerning information
via examination divisions and academic departments.
