don't all students "have to" study at home?
The only arguments I can come up with is disability related (e.g. home
dialysis etc.) or lack of support at Institution to assist with study (this
would mean Institution having to admit to being unable to support)
"alternative therapies" may not be study related, suggests she talks to a
Benefits Adviser if she is in receipt of benefits

Subject: heating/therapy costs
I have a student requesting extra help with heating costs for when
she has to study at home. She has also asked for funding towards
payment of a therapy (denied under NHS) which may alleviate symptons
of her condition.
Any comments?
Thanks, Roz
