It is unjust St. John and imagine their joy when they find out that
other students who chose to do the Nursing degree programmes
do get DSAs. You can imagine the laughs the students have about
it. On the odd occassion in the past I have managed to get a
discretionary payment from a particular Regional Health Authority
but it was like getting the proverbial out of a stone (ironic as their
offices were just around the corner from the UKTSSA ). Same
argument is used for Hardship funds etc.
