EUROPEAN LEARNING STYLES INFORMATION NETWORK (ELSIN)
5th Annual Learning Styles Conference
Business School, University of Hertfordshire
Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th June 2000
The conference has been designed to provide an opportunity for extensive
sharing of news and views in the diverse field of cognitive and learning
styles and strategies.
The conference will include theoretical, methodological and empirical
contributions on the following themes:
· international comparative studies of style
· theory and measurement of style
· style and new learning technologies
· style and managerial and organisational cognition
· style and human resource development
· the policy implications of individual differences in style.

the full conference costs £195 - and this includes accommodation,
conference dinner, documentation etc.
This year the conference will include a keynote contribution from Adrian
Furnham, Professor of Psychology at the University of London. Professor
Furnham is author of over thirty books including 'Personality at Work' and
'Psychology of Managerial Incompetence' and has also published over four
hundred peer reviewed articles in international scientific journals. He
was cited as Europe's most productive psychologist in the 1990s. Professor
Furnham is a regular contributor to BBC television and radio and considers
himself to be a well-adjusted workaholic who beleives that work 'is more
fun than fun'.
