Me again!
If you want to see the disability rights in education bill visit:
http://www.parliament.the-stationery-office.co.uk/pa/ld200001/ldbills/003/20
01003.htm.
By the way, there was some discussion last week, or the week before (I have
lost track of time!), about accommodation and reasonable adjustments.
Universities should not wait for the new Act as they are covered by the DDA
now as service providers and as people letting property (their accommodation
will be one or other of these), although the letting premises provisions
don't require reasonable adjustments and changes to the physical environment
are not required until 2004...
Yours,
Nick Hawkes
