The Careers Advisory Network on Disability Opportunities (CanDo) provides
web-based careers information resource for disabled students and graduates.
It also advises employers, runs training courses and works with government,
higher education institutions, the media and disability organisations to
improve employment opportunities for disabled graduates.
We have two vacancies to join our growing team.
Careers Development Manager
c. £24,000 p/a full time

An exciting opportunity to become a key player in the development and
delivery of new careers guidance services to disabled students, graduates
and their advisors. You will have responsibility for the development of
training schemes for both disabled students and graduates, and also for H.E.
Careers Services; you will work in collaboration with CanDo's Webmaster to
develop on-line and interactive training materials; and will be CanDo
spokesperson at careers fairs and events.
Information & Website Manager
c. £16,000 p/a pro rata (21 hours p/w)

CanDo is seeking a skilled information manager to develop CanDo's Web-based
information service. You will be responsible for the research, cataloguing
and presentation of information for our self-help Website information
service. Additionally you will lead the development of the Services Web
presence, through the redevelopment and expansion of our Website and the
introduction of new strategies for Internet delivery. You will have a strong
background in information management and a keen interest in Internet
technologies.
