We've got one. It's brill, it's cheap and fun to use. The Zychem folk
are approachable and don't pester the life out of you if you make
enquiries. It's worth checking out the RNIB advice about diagram
design before you start chucking through Durer etchings and the like.
It's also handy if you have someone who can use Braille in the place
for labelling and legends. While you can mess about with felt pens
and rulers, you can also produce pictures on your PC (or scan them and
then modify them) and use a Braille font for labelling, print the
result onto the magic paper and then see it rise like a miraculous
souffle when you pop it in the oven. While it may not be suitable for
everything, for giving day to day access to diagrams it is miles better
than German film.
