I wrote something like this, many moons ago, for a researcher who was
testing whether wearing sunglasses for driving in bright fog affected ones
ability to see brake lights. The screen was presented in a grey colour and
random red dots appeared. The candidate had to press a footswitch
(connected to the serial port, I think) when they noticed the dot and the time
was measured for later analysis. It was written in M-TEC BBC Basic for the
PC!
Is there any point in me hunting around to see if I still have a copy?
