Subject: RE: Outlook & Exchange
Thanks for the Info on Outlook. I wasn't aware of the listserv! Also
useful is http://www.microsoft.com/enable/products/office2000/default.htm on
the Microsoft site.
Anyway, I don't think I asked quite the right question...
Does anyone know anyone who uses the Calendar part of outlook with Jaws? I
know that Jaws can access it, but I'm more concerned that the operation of
the calendar may be so visual, that its actually unusable by Jaws users.
In other words, if you know someone who uses JAWS and the calendar functions
of Outlook (i.e. not just the email bit), could you ask if they'd be willing
to contact me?
I'm interested in whether a Jaws user would be able to properly participate
in an environment that used the collaboration features of exchange & Office
(i.e. diary management etc, either by using the Outlook Client, or the web
based Exchange Client). Some universities are looking at requiring all
staff to use this system, and I'm trying to find out what issues may exist
with that model (which equally may provide massive advantages over current
paper based systems to all users).
Cheers
- Paul
