Does anyone have an answer to this situation:
A student on a compulsory five week work placement, but requires
an ergonomically designed chair, due to a back condition.
The student has such a chair at home via their DSA claim.
Now, is it the responsibility of the institution to provide such a chair
during the student's work placement period, or the placement's
responsibility under to DDA?
Education or employment?
Although this is a relatively short placement, where do we stand
regarding sandwich courses and extended work placements?
I would appreciate your views.
