I am facilitating a workshop at the Skill conference on 5 Dec about
Non-Medical Helper (NMH) support. I was wondering if those of you who run
schemes would be interested in sending me some info that I could circulate
to others to share practice. Please do not reply to the list. I will attempt
to provide the info in a useful summary format which I hope to be able to
make available afterwards.

I would like info on the following please
1) Training courses people run for all types of NMH staff. Please say if
these are in house or if they offer nationally recognised qualifications
(you can send details to the address below if you want to advertise places).
Please state if these are for your own staff only or if you offer places to
those outside your HEI. State name of institution and contact details if
appropriate.
2) Type of NMH support service you offer with a brief description of how it
operates. If relevant, information on how you recruit NMH staff and how you
set rates of pay. The name of your institution and contact details if
appropriate.
I will be sharing this information with people in the workshop group. I
would be very grateful for any time you can spend letting me know what you
do.
