The Bill will become an Act on Friday - the House of Commons agreed to the
final Lords amendments yesterday. Expect fall-out from the IT industry and
civil rights campaigners!

This is probably a reference to The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Bill
(although it is not so new). The Commons were expected to deal with Lords
Amendments yesterday. I've not heard what happened. I confess to being
fuzzy about the remainings steps before it can become law but I believe
it is still possible for the Lords to block it if they don't get all their
amendments accepted.
