Yes. [log in to unmask] kindly passed a copy of a code of practice for the
health care sciences. He is a member of the mailbase group and am sure would
be happy to pass you a copy.
Chris Pounder identified there had been a COP under the 1984 Act. Further
research my end revealed The Data Protection Encyclopedia (Pages 7063 -
7074) contain details of "EU Recommendation No. R(83) 10". This relates
to the "Protection of Personal Data used for Scientific Research and
Statistics." You will probably find that interesting as it more or less is
a COP. The Encylopedia can be obtained from Sweet and Maxwell.
