There is a proposal here that personal data relating to a number of chemists
(names, qualifications , membership of professional societies) is published
on the internet by way of sources in support of research work undertaken.
The information is already in the public domain but not on the internet and
I think consent should be sought for this publication. There has been a
suggestion that it might be assumed that anyone over 100 may assumed to be
no longer living but I doubt the reliability of this. Any thoughts or views?
