Sorry to revive this one after the debate about exam scripts last year.
My question is: are those exam scripts that are manual files, new processing
if written/marked after October 98?
I can see that exam scripts relating to courses that are new (i.e.,
delivered for the first time in the 98/99 year) may be new processing, but
what about exam scripts for courses that have been delivered for a number of
years prior to Oct 98?
A related question is: when does a manual file become subject to new
processing? For example, if I put a probation report in a person's
personnel file is it existing processing if the probation report system has
been used for the past decade? Or is it new processing if the report system
was only introduced in January 99 - and if this is the case how much of the
file becomes subject to the 98 Act (i.e., loses transitional relief)?
Happy New Year
