At Coventry University we have made it a condition of enrolment that the
students agree to their results being published on pass lists (eg on
notice boards).
"... I also agree to the release of my results to my former
school/college. I accept the University's practice of displaying names
on pass lists. ..."
We would honour any legitimate request not to do this.
I recall that in a previous job we had a student who was a very
prominent political refugee, so we kept his enrolment quiet and took his
results out of all the published information.
