My goodness! how pedantic can one be! I think I have just lost my sense of
humour and its only Monday! Sounds as though your halls rules need
bringing into the 21st century. Deem the dog to be a guide dog! Or a
caring dog or whatever! Alert those who are blocking you to the QAA Code of
Practice Part 3, Students with Disabilities. Precept 18 might cover -
Institutions should identify and seek to meet the particular needs of
individual disabled students. There will be other precepts that you can use
if you read up! Loretto.
