Dear Carlos,
One detail that may be quite significant is that your abbot seems to have bare feet.
Flanked by two evangelists, as well, this may give him "apostolic" importance.
Although it is not a capital, the presence of Abbot Durandus (in a very similar pose)
in the Moissac cloister, in the presence of Christ's Apostles, carries somewhat the
same import. Somewhat similar, as well, is St Apollinaris flanked by twelve sheep
in the apse mosaic of S. Apollinare in Classe at Ravenna. Admittedly, these are
fairly loose comparisons. Good luck finding closer ones!
Cheers,
