Hi Mieko,
How do we get a list of our 13,000 items into Millennium though,
without doing them one by one (which I want to avoid if I possibly
can).
Is there an import option so I can do a global update.
Ta,
Mandy

Mandy,
You can create a special item status "On Loan Geac" and change the
status
of these items from "-" to whatever letter you assign to this status.
These items will then appear as "On Loan Geac" when patrons view them
on
the WebOPAC.
In Millennium circulation terms these items are not actually checked
out
so no overdues etc. will be generated but at least you can track which
items checked out on your previous system are still not returned.
Another
advantage of this method is if you check in these items in Millennium,
the system will offer to clear this special status so you don't need
to
edit the item record to change the status to "-".
I hope your implementation goes well.
