We are now taking bookings for this popular workshop:
Creating pages for the World Wide Web
8 September, London
How can you use the World Wide Web to promote your library/information
service? Find out how to design an interesting, attractive and easy to use
site that will encourage people to read and discover how your service can
help them.
How will this event help you?
It will:
* help you get to grips with the issues and practicalities of being an
information provider on the world wide web (WWW)
* tell you all you need to know about creating Web pages - using Hyper
Text Mark-up Language (HTML), Hypertext Links, Word Processing Add-ons
* raise your awareness of what we mean by a well designed Web page -
from layout, use of colour fonts and much more
* help you manage information on your page
