Greetings,
If you are looking to jump back into learning after the bank holiday weekend, then come along to our #EdSkillsShare this afternoon!
The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge will take over the GEM Twitter feed this afternoon from 15:00-17:00 GMT to lead a conversation about what we are learning from the experience of delivering museum education and engagement in lockdown. Across the sector, museums have been challenged to continue to deliver impactful, engaging activity with and for diverse audiences, in radically different circumstances.
The education team from The Fitzwilliam Museum will share experiences of innovating and adapting, testing and problem solving to ensure that they are continuing to reach a broad range of audiences in ways that respond to current needs and interests. The conversation will also include a reflection on what it means for us as educators to be working in this way, and what we might learn for the future.
Drop in anytime from 15:00-17:00 GMT on the @gem_heritage Twitter account to engage in this conversation and network virtually with other museum and heritage education professionals.
