Mainly schools primarily, as it's a formal learning service that we're currently reviewing, however, the loan boxes are sometimes borrowed for community groups too, though it isn't promoted for that yet. How do you think the two should be different in terms of management?
I've been looking around at a few websites, and there is one loan service that actually ONLY loans to community groups, sometimes as a facilitated session for delicate objects, but doesn't loan out to schools (they provide in-museum sessions instead). I've not heard of that before, but I wonder if that might be playing to the idea that loans replace visits?
