Ken earlier provided what are seen as in the Art and Design fields as
'classic' texts on wicked problems. In that work, wicked problems are seen
as intrinsically unsolvable.
There are other views that contradict this by example.
Some other fields have a very different understanding of design problems
that Art and Design fields view as 'wicked'. In the other fields wicked
problems are viewed as intrinsically solvable regardless of the human
dimensions.
This difference shows in the literature although it requires reading
outside the sources around which Art and Design thinking has clustered.
