Hello
I'm looking for some advice on public liability insurance. Until recently, I was working as an Education Officer for a museum ( a job which I have done for nine years). Of course, we were covered by the organisation's insurance! I am now setting up business as a sole trader, providing an interpretation, storytelling and living history service to small museums, local heritage conservation projects and schools.
I am aware of Towergate and Hiscox, but would like to shop around for insurance. I would be really grateful if anyone would be prepared to let me know, off-list, of any other insurance providers which deal with this sort of activity? Other providers only seem to list the more traditional businesses types on their web quotation forms, and I don't want to waste a huge amount of time and a (fairly) huge amount of money phoning around insurance companies who don't insure such specialist businesses.
I know it's a bit of a cheek, so I'd be really grateful for any help!
Kind regards
Evelyn Wilson
