Not really - there's probably not a direct connection, although Cranmer drew
on elements of Matins, Lauds and Prime for Morning Prayer, and Vespers and
Compline for Evening Prayer. The present cathedral choirs probably have a
more direct connection with the former lady Chapel choirs than with the main
choir (that is certainly the case for the former monastic cathedrals).
