Hmmm ... I just had a browse round the Noise Abatement Society's
website and couldn't find anything about such a leaflet.
Mind you, their site doesn't offer you any assistance to search
for what you're looking for (a bit like one of those supermarkets
where you have to look at every single shelf before you find
the sugar, really ... ).
Regarding Robert's query, I dare say there are people who know
of such research -- the store chain management, the MR firm
that concocted the results, etc., -- but such stuff rarely
reaches the eyes of the public.
However, Robert should not give up. His words are cogent, and
in due course should succeed -- when the management finally
announce that "We are working very closely with Professor Moore
and all our customers to address their concerns and ensure that
they enjoy a vibrant instore experience."
(It would be churlish to respond that this was precisely the
problem in the first place.)
Best wishes to all,
Ted.
