A couple of freelancers who work for Nottingham Museums & Galleries are
having problems finding an insurer who will cover them for outdoor
environmental sessions and bread baking sessions (not combined!). It
seems that many insurance companies are happy to cover art based sessions,
but they are not so keen on covering activities in the great outdoors and
cookery! We are not talking abseiling or hog roasts on an open fire! -
just simple pond-dipping and mini-beast hunting, and bread making sessions
at our windmill (the children don't actually use the cookers themselves).
Can anyone recommend insurers who cover these kinds of activities?
Many thanks,
Jo Kemp
