Following on from Claire's email we have been told on no circumstances to fill in blank forms from schools (Liability again). Basically if the event is not "ours" what ever that means, we have nothing to do with risk assessments. We also do not sent out our risk assessments as they may not be relevant to the possible user (if they ever get into the museum) and (back to the first email) the onus has to be on them to complete all the relevant information. Secondly the National Association of Secondary Heads and Women Teachers for East Anglia have publicially recommended to all if its members not to partake / organise out of school trips what so ever. Actually this might bring the whole thing to a head.
